Meet Jane: Jane Clark is a native Kansan. She completed her BA at Kansas State University in 2011, and studied abroad in London, England at the University of Hertfordshire. She received her MA at Oklahoma City University in 2013. As a student, she immersed herself into her university community through intramurals, clubs, and volunteer opportunities. She worked to cultivate relationships with peers and professionals, alike. Jane recently moved to Las Vegas, with her husband Matt Clark, NMHU’s new offensive coordinator/wide receiver coach.
As an Admissions Counselor at NMHU, she hopes the students she meets find their value, passion, and purpose through their experiences here at NMHU in their journey to be a lifelong learner.

Meet David: David Lucero hails from Peñasco, New Mexico and is a 2018 graduate of NMHU. He completed a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Anthropology. While at New Mexico Highlands University, David was a student athlete, ran cross-country and competed in the RMAC and South Central Region Cross Country Championships.
As an Admissions Counselor, he plans to recruit new students to NMHU by sharing his personal story and educational experience in hopes that he can better relate to the high school students he plan to recruit to Highlands.

Ms. Breanna Robinson

Meet Breanna: Breanna Robinson is a native to Moriarty, New Mexico. She earned a BA in Criminology, with minors in Political Science and Business Management from the University of New Mexico in 2017. She is currently enrolled in the Master’s in Public Affairs program at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. She has years of experience in the education setting. Prior to joining Highland family, she worked as a high school world history teacher & girls athletics’ coach in south Texas. Among her experience in education, she also worked as a program manager for a youth arts-education program in Washington, DC. She is fueled by a passion to bring positive change to the Highlands community and promote higher education.
As an Admissions Counselor at NMHU, she hopes to work one-on-one with students to help them navigate through the admissions process while helping them discover their passions, aspirations, and goals.

Meet Kristen: Kristen Olds is originally from Ohio. She received her BA in psychology from Brown University and her MFA in creative writing from Brooklyn College. She’s worked in a variety of industries, including publishing, entertainment, hospitality, and higher education. As a college instructor of English composition, she discovered that she’s most passionate about facilitating student growth and connecting students with academic and career opportunities. She’s thrilled to bring her eclectic mix of work experience and her dedication to student success to NMHU.
As the Transfer Admissions Counselor at NMHU, she’s excited to learn about students’ academic, social, and career interests and help them achieve greatness at Highlands University and in life after Highlands.
Mr. Dale Kier

Meet Dale: Dale hails from Washington State. Dale completed a BA in communications from Eastern Washington University. He later received two Masters Degrees in International Relations and International Communications from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia. Dale used connections he created abroad to visit Malaysia, Germany, Italy, Czech Republic, the Netherlands, England, Wales, and Ireland. Dale has also worked with refugees and international logistics in his past employment.
As an International Coordinator at NMHU, he hopes to maximize your experience here in the United States. Dale is here to make sure you achieve your goals of graduating, and make lifelong memories along the way.
